Learning Hub
Structured literacy and numeracy sessions for underserved learners in Yola, Adamawa State.
Program Overview
The Learning Hub is Gem'inate Kids Foundation's flagship direct-service program. It delivers structured, evidence-informed literacy and numeracy instruction to children in underserved communities in Yola, Adamawa State, a region where educational access remains limited and learning outcomes are far below national benchmarks.
Each cohort runs across a 39-week cycle, serving between 50 and 80 learners per cycle, with 3 sessions per week. Sessions are designed to meet children where they are, building foundational skills in reading comprehension and basic mathematics through structured, engaging methods.
Theory of Change
We believe that when underserved children receive consistent, quality foundational education in a safe and structured environment, they build the academic confidence and skills needed to stay in, and succeed in, formal schooling. This ripples outward: literate children grow into economically active adults who invest in the education of the next generation.
